Form the diamond base of the lily table napkin
To make the lily napkin, get a square piece of either cloth or paper napkin. It's up to you what color you want the napkin to be. Lay it on a flat surface and orientate it into a diamond.
Fold the napkin into a triangle by bringing the bottom corner to the top corner.
Bring the left corner to the top corner. Do this by diagonally folding the left part to the top.
Do the same on the right part of the napkin as well. Diagonally fold it to the top.
Shape the napkin into a triangle
Bring the two top flaps of the upper part to the bottom side.
Bring the bottom corner to the center of the table napkin.
Next, fold the bottom edge of the napkin to the middle. See image above on how it should look like.
Shape the napkin into a lily
Flip the napkin over to the other side.
Bring the left part of the table napkin to the middle
Tuck the right part of the napkin insde the left part.
Make the petals of the lily napkin
Flip the napkin to the other side.
Tuck the corner of the left topmost flap to the bottom part.
Do the same on the other side as well. Congratulations! The lily napkin fold is done!
Extra Tips
- It’s best to place the napkin in the middle of the plate. If there is already another plate there, you can also place the napkin on the right or left side above the plate.
- For this flower napkin fold, its best to use a soft cloth napkin to make softer flower petals. If you don't have cloth napkin, then paper napkin is fine!
